Just for Daddy

Hey Daddy!! We woke up at 7 this morning and I ate my rice cereal with apples today. It was a good thing we woke up early because the comcast guy came around 8:30 so Mom was able to pick up some, get dressed, and brush her teeth. Besides that Mom and I have been playing today. We were thinking about a walk, but it's raining.

Besides playing I've been blowing lots and lots of bubbles. I ate squash and pears for lunch today. I'm being extra good for Mom. We love you bunches!!

He's Here!

He's here!!  Conner Miles Burk was born June 14, 2011 at 2:29 pm.  He weighed 8 lbs and 7 oz and was 21 inches long.

As you can see we are all doing well and we are quite happy with our new addition.

Almost There :)

We went to the doctor's yesterday and I am 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced.  The doctors think Conner will be coming in a week or two. During the exam they actually touched Conner's head.

Miles & Eddy Blog

After years of telling myself that I should create my own comic strip I finally decided to just do it. I started a new blog called Miles & Eddy! It is a comic strip that hopefully will be entertaining to you all!
Enjoy! You can find the link to my Miles & Eddy blog in my blog list. My methods are primitive but they seem to be working. My supplies consist of paper, pencil, and eraser, computer, scanner, cardboard box, lamp, and a pane of glass. After drawing my sketches I scan them into the computer and then with a little Paint magic I produce what is available on the Miles & Eddy blog. Someday hopefully my methods will improve along with the quality of my comic strip.

Photoshop Creation

Here is my latest creation in Photoshop. That program is amazingly awesome! The planet looks a little plastic and there's a problem with the lighting effect, so hopefully I will be able to do better next time. Nevertheless, I think it turned out decent for an amateur.

Pregnant Bellies!!

Some people have wanted to see pictures of Meagan's pregnant belly well folks here it is!

We went to the doctor's and we were told that Meagan's belly was 3 inches bigger than was normal for 28 weeks.  When we get back from South Carolina we get to go in for another ultra sound to check Conner out.  We are way excited to see him at 32 weeks! He's gonna be so big and detailed!

Conner Miles Burk is coming to town June 22!!
