Here is an attempt of a comic strip when I was in high-school.

You stay on your side
I'll stay on mine.
We'll put down the tape together,
And get along fine.

We'll be equal in all things
Both in room and in time;
But you stay on your side
And I'll stay on mine.

Someday when we are older
The tape may be lifted,
We'll come together
When all has been shifted.

But that is far away
And we are still young.
So you stay on your side
And I'll stay on mine.

Apart, we get along just fine.

How will it be decided,

“By convenience, fear, or faith?”

How have you made your choices?

Is it stay or runaway?

If convenience guides your path

What does it reflect or say?

For fear is not much different it simply says

“NO WAY!”

What profit a man who by convenience lives his life away

No lessons was he taught and no lessons did he teach

How will it be decided,

“By convenience, fear, or faith?”

Faith is not to stay and certainly not runaway

but rather tells us to press on

and lift those on the way

What great profit we can gain and lessons we can learn

For by faith we lead the way and fear is far away.

Let us decide right here and now to live our life by faith.

WE WILL PREVAIL by Zachary Burk

Upon a hill I look clear out
among the treetops and streets below.
A sprinkled meadow of bright lights do cause my mind to ponder
the dreams and hopes and prayers of those
between the cluttered lights below.
What life! What stories lie behind awaiting for some day
When struggles, tears do fade away and
joy is overflowing.
As the wind blows strongly cross my face I stop to think and ask,
Why can't it take it all away, that which, weakens and afflicts?
There is relief in sight, I know,
for beauty will prevail.
The bitter sting of trial-full times is but a little moment.
So, lift up your hearts and sing your praise
to that almighty God who hears your prayers and knows your needs
who strengthens you in trial.
Long before we came this way the plan was made and set.
The angels sing melodious tunes with
words of truth and peace.
"Oh dear children do not despair
for there is one who knows thee well. He will
heal thee in thine hour and sooth the bitter sting.
Triumphant over all that scars
He is Christ!, your rock, Redeemer, Lord!"
